Psychodynamic Psychotherapist and Counsellor in Canterbury, Kent

I am incredibly passionate about promoting equality, diversity and inclusion through my practice. I am constantly undertaking Continuous Professional Development (CPD) to ensure I am up-to-date on all matters surrounding equality.

Racial equality

I am devoted to antiracism and strive to ensure all people of colour feel comfortable in my consulting room. I am an ally to the Black Lives Matter movement and I keep abreast on issues surrounding various minoritised ethnic communities.

Sexual equality

Regardless of what you may identify as, I will strive to make you feel as comfortable as possible speaking to me about any issues you may have. I have undergone training regarding trans issues and am devoted to the cause of narrowing the gap between men and women – whatever form this comes in. I am familiar with men’s issues, women’s issues, and trans issues, so will work with my skill set to help you help yourself.

Neurodiversity

I have undergone extensive training around the topic of neurodiversity and aim to make all neurodiverse individuals, or people awaiting assessment, comfortable in my consulting room. We can work within your neurodiversity to look at sources of distress and how positive changes can be made in your life.

Disabilities

Whatever disability you have, whether it’s physical, mental, or a learning disability, I will do my utmost to help you feel confident to talk through any issues you may have. If you have a physical disability, please note there is one step up to get into my consulting room.
