Psychodynamic Psychotherapist in Kent and East Sussex

I am incredibly passionate about promoting equity, diversity and inclusion through my practice. I am constantly undertaking Continuous Professional Development (CPD) to ensure I am up-to-date on all matters surrounding EDI (Equity, Diversity and Inclusion).

Racial equality

I am devoted to antiracism and strive to ensure all people of colour feel comfortable in my consulting room. I am an ally to the Black Lives Matter movement and I keep abreast on issues surrounding various minoritised ethnic communities.

Sexual equality

Regardless of how you may identify, I will strive to make you feel as comfortable as possible speaking to me about any issues you may have. I have undergone training regarding trans issues and am devoted to the cause of narrowing the gap between genders. I am familiar with men’s issues and women’s issues, so will work with my skill set to help you help yourself.

Neurodiversity

I have undergone extensive training around neurodiversity and aim to make all neurodiverse individuals, or people awaiting assessment, comfortable in my consulting room. We can work within your neurodiversity to look at sources of distress and how positive changes can be made in your life.

Disabilities

Whatever disability you have, whether it’s physical, mental, or a learning disability, I will do my utmost to help you feel confident to talk through any issues you have, and ensure therapy is accessible for you. If you have a physical disability and are seeking in-person sessions, please let me know so we can discuss any accessibility needs.
